UN General Assembly, Science Summit, New York: Your Invitation to our Book Launch

On the special occasion of the UN General Assembly, 80th Session, in New York, our latest book (“21st Century African Development Strategies,” Palgrave Macmillan, 2025) will be launched at the Science Summit on the 23rd of September at 17:00. The hybrid event, which will run from 13:30-18:00, will provide for both in-person and online attendance. We are grateful to the organizers, especially the Global Flagship Initiative for Food Security, for creating the opportunity for an African contribution at the Science Summit. The Flagship is involved in two major events, where the following speakers (among others) are expected:

The Flagship’s Secretary General, Dr. Conrad Rein, will highlight the Initiative’s progress since its launch last December, while Co-Chairs, Dr. Stefan Schmitz/Crop Trust and Dr. Nasser Alkahtani, will moderate both events.
