2021: THE YEAR OF THE AFRICAN PESTLE

2021 started on a very positive note for the African PESTLE Analysis, an innovative extension of the traditional Harvard-inspired Strategic Management framework by Dr Karamo NM Sonko, President of Jula Consultancy. Since the first presentation to the Arab Bank for the Economic Development of Africa (BADEA) in 2018, the African PESTLE has been presented to major companies and organizations in Asia and Europe, in addition to Africa. It was presented to the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) in in Harare, Zimbabwe,  on the 19th of March, 2021, and to the Organization of the African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) in Brussels, Belgium, on 26th March, 2021. The ACBF works in 48 African countries and the OACPS has 79 members. All the presentations were attended by the most senior decision-makers (such as Ministers, Ambassadors, CEOs and Directors) in the institutions concerned. Jula Consultancy and Wenso, a multi-service IT company in Manchester, UK, signed an MOU on 18th September 2020 to convert the framework into a computer application.
