Two months ago, Jula Consultancy FZE opened an Islamic finance advisory window for one-stop services to clients around the world. From our extensive network of advisors, including renown scholars from Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America, we have decided to add the following young men to our website because of their promising future, and knowledge of Arabic, Islam, modern technology and social sciences. At least one of them is  حفظت القرآن (memorized the entire Qur’an). They are:
MR SEEDY CONTEH is a PhD Candidate in Islamic finance at Durham University in the UK. He is a Certified Shariah Advisor and Auditor (CSAA, AAOIFI). He has M.Sc in Islamic Banking & Finance from the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) and B.Sc. in Accounting, University of the Gambia.
DR. FARRUKH HABIB is an expert in Islamic law, finance, and fintech with over 10 years of global experience. As the founder and CEO of Basil Innovations, and Co-founder of Alif Technologies, he focuses on Islamic fintech and the halal digital economy, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, tokenization, and shariah compliance. He is currently involved in various fintech projects as an advisor, mentor, or core team member. He has a PhD in Islamic Finance from INCEIF, Malaysia.
MR. SALIEU SENGHORE is in the PhD program in Islamic Finance at INCEIF, and also in the PhD in Education Program at the UAE University. He has extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative research techniques as well as pedagogy. He is one of the recipients of the Dean’s Commendation for Research Awards from the College of Education, UAE University, for the academic years 2021–2022, 2022-2023, 2021–2022, and 2022-2023.
MR MUHAMMED SONKO is doing a Master of Public Administration degree in Economic Policy Management at Columbia University in the city of New York, NY. He has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of the Gambia and another Bachelor’s in Islamic Economics, Banking and Finance from the International Open University. He is a Certified Shariah Advisor and Auditor (CSAA, AAOIFI) and a Financial Sector Regulator of Islamic finance institutions, at the Central Bank of The Gambia (CBG).
