We are grateful to His Excellency Zhang Yiming, Ambassador of China to the UAE, and to His Excellency Fafa Sanyang, Ambassador of the Gambia to the UAE, and their staff, for the very warm welcome accorded to our team and our CEO during our recent visit to Abu Dhabi last week (30 July 2025). In addition to the welcome, the Ambassadors brought their staff to meet our CEO, patiently took their times to engage in productive and friendly discussions about China, the Gambia and Africa. We are also glad that our visit provided the opportunity for His Excellencies to meet for the first time and renew their diplomatic commitments to work together in serving their countries and their host nation (the UAE). Our latest book on Africa was presented during the visit. Our CEO’s visit to Abu Dhabi was another milestone in my efforts to travel around the world, meeting fellow stakeholders in our shared universe. This journey has taken him to the weakest and most powerful, to black, white, etc., to villages and cities, to royal families, politicians, diplomats, businesspersons and civil society activists, and to the poorest and wealthiest. He counts his footsteps wherever he is able to step positively!
