WELLBORING EXPANDS WATER IN WEST AFRICA TO SIERRA LEONE

We at Jula Consultancy are pleased to inform you that WellBoring West Africa, of which our CEO is the Chairman, has expanded its free water services in the subregion for the benefit of school children and their communities. As part of our New Year’s Gift to Sierra Leone’s neediest district, Pujehun, we have launched a pilot project to directly provide water to about 10,000 beneficiaries (4.3% of the total population), in addition to many more indirect beneficiaries. Speaking from Chippenham, the United Kingdom, the WellBoring organization’s cofounder, Nigel Linacre BEM, who has started this initiative, said that the Sierra Leone project is of special importance “because of the high incidence of disease and absence from school”!
We have worked in and out of Sierra Leone with the needy for about 20 years now, starting with amputees of a devastating civil war of more than 10 years.
Our CEO’s interest in doing more in the country has only increased over the years, especially after setting up WellBoring West Africa as a joint venture with our family foundation, Heeno International. It is his hope to at least double WellBoring’s activities in the country by the end of 2025. He is very proud of and grateful to his colleagues at WellBoring in the UK, Gambia, Germany, USA and Kenya. He is also grateful to all others who have made the Sierra Leonean project and our selfless water services in Africa exemplary realities.
